Arrival at Cochin Airport, our representative/driver will receive you and transfer to hotel. After lunch Your itinerary here will include places like Fort Cochin, still keeping alive its ancient Jew tradition, the Santa Cruz Basilica, Mattancherry Palace, St. Francis Church (The importance of this church is - it is one of the oldest church in South India Constructed by Portuguese and Vas Go Da Gama's body first preserved in this church and later his body they shipped to Portugal. We could see his Original Tomb is in this church) and more. The Jew’s street and the Chinese fishing nets at Fort Cochin beach are the must see. After breakfast. check out and drive to Munnar (140 KM / 4 Hrs). The green Paradise of Kerala with unending expands of Tea plantations, high mountains with low flying clouds and a variety of flora and fauna. On the way visit, Cheyappara and Valara Waterfalls (waterfall is seasonal). Upon arriving Munnar, check in your hill resort and the rest of the day at leisure or you can go to visit nearby places and followed by Overnight stay.
Morning, after breakfast proceeding for sightseeing. visit Eravikulam National park; where the endangering Nilgiri Tahr is conserved. Afternoon, Visit Tea Museum, followed by Blossom Park, Mattupetty Dam- a beautiful spot for viewing the picturesque Munnar- Also visit Eco point and tea plantations. Evening, you can visit Hydel park followed by shopping at Munnar Town, if interested. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Today after breakfast check out your hotel and drive towards Thekkady (100 K.M / 4 Hrs), the Wildlife destination of Kerala. It’s also known as the spice bag of the state. You can enjoy a beautiful journey through the hills and valleys of Wastern Ghat to reach this jungle destination. On the way visit Gap Road Viewpoint and spice plantation tour covering tea, coffee, tea, pepper and cardamom plantations. Elephant ride. Check in your hotel and later have an amazing boat ride in Periyar Lake which flows through the Periyar tiger reserve. You will have chance to watch the wild animals like elephant, Bison, Sambar, Deer etc are roaming the both shore. Evening Optional shows Kathakali and Kalarippayattu and evening visit the local spice market for garden fresh spices. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
After breakfast, you have the option for early morning trekking, elephant ride, spice plantation visit, visit to nearby organic farm etc.evening you can shop for some exotic spices and herbs at the local market. overnight stay at Thekkady.
Alleppey is a city with picturesque canals, backwaters, beaches, and lagoons, it was described as one of the places known as the "Venice of the East" by Lord Curzon. Hence, it is known as the "Venetian Capital" of Kerala. The Backwaters of Alappuzha are the most popular tourist attraction in Kerala. Alleppey is the largest rice cultivation center of rice in KeralaAfter Breakfast, check out from Thekkady and transfer to Alleppey (4hrs). Once in Alleppey, check in the houseboat and set on cruise through the backwaters, a fabulous way to enjoy the fascinating beauty of the serene backwaters of Kerala, where the boat will take you to canals, lagoons, and sprawling paddy fields etc.. while you enjoy the cruise, authentic Kerala cuisine will be served to you on board.
After early breakfast and drive to Kovalam (160 K.M / 5 Hrs). Up on arrival, check in to a hotel. This beach town ranked high among international tourists is an ideal destination to feel the tropical sun and to feel contented about the golden suntan. Water enthusiasts have a lot of beach activities to indulge in like - kayaking, swimming, surfing and skiing. Occasionally walk into some of the certified massaging centers alongside the beach and pamper yourself with an exotic herbal, body- toning massage. Overnight to be spent at hotel near the beach.
After breakfast, proceed to Trivandrum for sightseeing.Visit the famous Sri Padmanabha Swamy Temple- a blend of Kerala and Dravidian style of architecture, the temple is noted for its mural paintings and stone carvings. One among the 108 sacred Vishnu temples in India, the presiding deity here is Lord Vishnu reclining on Anantha, the Serpent. Only Hindus are allowed inside the temple in prescribed dress code.The palace museum displays paintings and priceless collections of the royal family. Then proceed to visit the famous Sri Chitirathirunnal Art Galley, where you can watch the famous pictures of Sri Raja Ravi Varma and many others, the proceed to visit Napier Museum , then visit the Zoological Garden. The above three centres are located in one Camps only. Later proceed to Shanmugam Beach is the other attraction. An indoor recreation club, the gigantic 35m long sculpture of a mermaid, restaurant shaped like a starfish are some of the attractions here (As per the time availability). Evening, return back to Kovalm for beach activities and overnight stay at Kovalam.
Morning After early breakfast drive to Kanyakumari (100 KM / 2 Hrs), Kanyakumari is located at the southern tip of the Indian subcontinent and represents the site where the spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda spent days in meditation upon a rock off of the coast. Padmanbhapuram Palace, Suchithram Temple, Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Memorial, Gandhidham and Trivenisagam are some of the sightseeing attractions in Kanyakumari. Enjoy the sunset in the evening and overnight stay is arranged at Kanyakumari.
Early morning, watch the sunrise at the tip of India where 3 oceans meet (optional). After breakfast, visit Vivekananda Swamy Temple, Thiruvallor statue. Check out from the hotel and transfer to Trivandrum and drop at airport/railway station as per your departure schedule. You can Visit Sri Padmanabha swamy temple if time permits.
